SequriX expands alarm follow-up with EuroPAC and Trigion control centers

With the expansion of two new private alarm centers (PACs), SequriX becomes even more versatile. In addition to links with SMC, Stanley Alarm Center, NVD and Securitas Alert Services, SequriX adds EuroPAC and Trigion to the PACs supported by the software.

Newly added private alarm centers means that even more alarms can be monitored faster and followed-up more accurately by the security companies that work with the management and reporting system SequriX. Digital forwarding of alarms from a PAC to SequriX puts an end to inefficient telephone traffic, manual data entry, communication of incomplete information and therefore a delayed alarm follow-up.

“Thanks to these links with control rooms, more and more security companies are experiencing the added value working digitally. This ensures further enhancement of security personnel professionalism,” says John van der Loo, senior account manager at SequriX.

Connecting Trigion with SequriX is provided by using the e-CLIPS protocol, a proven standard for the automatic processing of alarms. Via e-CLIPS alarms from the Trigion alarm center are digitally transferred to  the SequriX software. An automatic dispatcher in SequriX then sends the alarm directly to the appropriate invigilator on location.

Internally developed PAC coupling

With EuroPAC SequriX has realized a link based on an own API. This specially developed coupling option enables SequriX to easily expand with new functions. Multiple alarm center software systems can connect via the API in future implementations. This in-house developed link is faster to set up with new control rooms than third-party links.
