This privacy policy applies to the SequriX mobile application developed by SequriX B.V. The policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected when users access and use the application.
Collection and Use of Information
The Application collects information when you use it. This information includes the following:
- The Internet Protocol (IP) address of your device
- The pages within the Application that you visit and the date and time of your visit.
- The total time spent using the Application.
- The operating system used on your mobile device
- Crash data
Location data
The SequriX app collects precise device location (GPS and network-based location) to support core security guard and patrol functionality.
Location data may be collected while the app is in use (foreground) and while the app is running in the background, in order to support the following features:
- recording and monitoring security patrol routes
- verifying checkpoint visits
- enabling emergency alarms and incident reports with GPS location
- allowing security companies to monitor guard activity and respond to incidents
Location tracking is only active when the user is logged in to the application and assigned to work. When the user logs out of the application, the app stops collecting location data.
Background location access is required to ensure patrol routes and emergency alerts continue to function even when the application is minimized or the device screen is locked.
Location data is transmitted securely to SequriX servers and is made available only to the security company that manages the user’s account, for operational purposes such as patrol verification, incident response, and service reporting.
SequriX does not sell location data to third parties.
Opt-Out Rights
You can easily stop all information collection by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available on your mobile device or via the relevant app marketplace or network.
Data Retention Policy
SequriX will retain user-provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable period thereafter. If you wish to have your data deleted, you may contact support@sequrix.com. The Service Provider will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Data Sharing
SequriX provides a software platform used by security companies to manage security operations and personnel. The SequriX mobile application is used by employees or guards of those security companies as part of their work activities.
Information collected through the application, including location data, is transmitted to SequriX servers and made available to the security company that provides the user’s account and manages the security operations.
SequriX processes this information solely for the purpose of providing the SequriX service to the security company. SequriX does not sell personal information or location data to third parties.
Children
The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13. SequriX does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If SequriX becomes aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, such information will be immediately deleted from the servers. Security
SequriX values the protection of your information. Physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards are in place to protect the information that SequriX processes and maintains.
Changes
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be communicated by updating this page with the latest version of the privacy policy. You are advised to review this policy regularly. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. This privacy policy is effective as of 12 December 2025.
